It is the end of the year and all of us are tired both students and teachers alike. I have to remind myself on a daily basis of this and that I’m teaching children who have a lot less experience of dealing with this than I do as an adult. As we round the end of the year, let us take in consideration a few tips on how to stay positive:

I am an 8th grade teacher at North Middle School in Radcliff, Kentucky who has a love for teaching and learning. I absolutely love studying other cultures. As a teacher, I have the distinct honor to work in a school where there are quite a few ESL (English as a Second Language) students. In this setting I am afforded the opportunity to interact, learn, and take a role in teaching these amazing students who bring such diversity to the classroom setting.
